The Journal is committed to enforcing requirements for ethical authorship. Please read the Requirements for Author Attributions adopted by the Journal. The processes used by the editorial team are guided by the codes published by the Committee on Publication Ethics. A summary of these codes is available here: Code of conduct for journal editors. Further information can be found on the Committee on Publication Ethics website.
Education Research and Perspectives welcomes scholarly contributions in the form of empirical reports, review essays, commentary papers and book reviews. Contributions from all areas of education research are considered. Manuscripts are subjected to a two-stage review process. Stage One is an editorial ‘desk review’, designed to ensure that only articles which align well with the goals of the journal are sent for peer review. This ensures that authors receive rapid feedback on papers that are not well suited for the journal. Manuscripts not rejected in this initial stage are then subjected in Stage Two to a blind peer review process. Submitted manuscripts must conform to the requirements stipulated here.
Authors retain copyright of their contributions to the Journal. There is no Article Processing Charge, or any other charge, to publish in the Journal. Please ensure that your submission does not include any identifying information about you (including in the headers), for the purposes of blind peer review. You should include this information on a separate title page.
